Emma's teacher gave each child a chrysalis at the end of the school year. Emma has been waiting patiently for her chrysalis to 'hatch.' It happened this morning... So while cooking a steak & egg feast, we also had to cope with a newly hatched butterfly. We made sugar water, the butterfly was fed, and then we put the butterfly back in the garage. Too much excitement is not healthy for any newborn.
I remember doing that as a kid! Fun.
